Little snowmen ornaments

Christmas is coming, the most wonderful time of the year for me and my family! I would like to introduce you my little snowmen ornaments, made only from paper, small pieces of wood and color thread! They are happy, sweet, cute and colorful of course to decorate your Christmas tree. I love Christmas and the whole festive cheer associated with. 

They come in two sets: blue, red and green and blue, red, yellow.

Έρχονται τα Χριστούγεννα, η πιο όμορφη γιορτή του χρόνου για μένα και την οικογένειά μου!

Θα ήθελα λοιπόν να σας συστήσω τα μικρά μου χιονανθρωπάκια-στολίδια, φτιαγμένα μόνο από χαρτί, μικρά κομμάτια ξύλου και χρωματιστή κλωστή. Είναι χαρούμενα, γλυκά, χαριτωμένα και φυσικά χρωματιστά για να διακοσμήσουν το χριστουγεννιάτικο σας δέντρο.

Αγαπώ τα Χριστούγεννα και όλη την εορταστική τους διάθεση!

Θα τα βρείτε σε δύο σετ με διαφορετικά χρώματα: μπλε, κόκκινο και πράσινο, και μπλε, κόκκινο και κίτρινο.

Happy Rainbow Ornaments

I love gifts for kids and most of all I love to make them with my kids. So we have it as a "tradition" in our family to make small gifts for kids on every birthday. 

On September 30, my little daughter became 4 and I can't believe it! But we celebrated her birthday one week later. It was a great "rainbow" evening with family and friends...my kids chose the theme of the rainbow for her birthday and I had the idea to make these hanging rainbow ornaments to give them as a gift to her friends...so we made them and I love, love, love them! We also try to make this rainbow birthday cake that you saw in the previous photos...I think we did it pretty well :) and I hope you like it too!

Αγαπώ τα δώρα για παιδιά, αλλά περισσότερο αγαπώ να τα φτιάχνω μαζί με τα παιδιά μου. Έχει γίνει λίγο πολύ σαν έθιμο στην οικογένειά μας, πάντα σε κάθε γενέθλια να φτιάχνουμε μικρά δωράκια για τα παιδάκια, πάντα χειροποίητα, πάντα με αγάπη.

Στις 30 λοιπόν του Σεπτέμβρη, η μικρή μου κόρη έγινε 4. Δύσκολο να το πιστέψω, αλλά γιορτάσαμε τα γενέθλια της μια εβδομάδα μετά. Το θέμα που διάλεξαν τα παιδάκια μου ήταν το ουράνιο τόξο. Σκέφτηκα λοιπόν να φτιάξουμε για δωράκια αυτά τα κρεμαστά στολίδια "ουράνια τόξα" για να το κρεμάσει κάθε παιδάκι στο δωμάτιό του. Τα αγαπώ!

Προσπαθήσαμε επίσης να φτιάξουμε και μια τούρτα ουράνιο τόξο, όπως θα είδατε στις προηγούμενες φωτογραφίες. Νομίζω ότι τα πήγαμε αρκετά καλά :) Ελπίζω να αρέσει και σε σας!

Halloween ghost ornaments

Hello everyone! Halloween is a day that we don't celebrate officially here in Greece, even though in recent years this festival has begun to have its fans here as well. So, this unique celebration gave me the idea to create these little ghost ornaments. Spooky, but look how cute and happy they are :) and they also hold a bunting flag with the word Boo! I really, really love them and make my day when I look at them. They are made of paper and paper pulp which means are completely recyclable and eco-friendly.

Starfish Jewelry Dishes

Hello, my friends! How are you? I know I don't post often but as you know, life with two kids is really mad sometimes and you can't find time to do the things that you have planned to do. Kids always have other plans :)

Well, today I will show you my starfishes! The idea was to create something for summer and something useful and functional for women. And I create this starfishes as jewelry trays. The ones that you see are my first design. My other design will come in the next post.They are made only from paper and more specifically from my handmade paper pulp. I create them to hold your small jewelry or trinkets!They are water-resistant but not waterproof.

Paper mache whale brooches

Today, I'm showing you my cute handmade paper mache whale brooches. They are made of cardboard and my handmade paper pulp (a mix from white toilet paper, glue and water mixed in my blender) and are completely recycled and eco friendly. They come in two colors, pink and blue. You can wear them with your clothes, to your lapel or scarf. There's a metallic flat back safety pin hot glued in the back.

Σήμερα θα σας δείξω τις μικρές μου χειροποίητες φαλαινίτσες -καρφιτσούλες. Είναι φτιαγμένες από χαρτί και χαρτοπολτό, τον οποίο φτιάχνω μόνη μου, χτυπώντας χαρτί, κόλλα και νερό στο μπλέντερ. Υπάρχουν σε δύο χρώματα, μπλε και ροζ. Το κούμπωμα της είναι μεταλλική καρφίτσα ασφαλείας με βάση.

Papier mache boy figure

A cute and colorful boy from paper made with papier mache technique. Unique, handmade and eco-friendly addition to your boy's or baby boy's room. And the cutest thing is that his hands are movable! 

Recycled flower vase for spring!

A handmade paper mache vase for spring! A recycled flower vase, which is sculpted by hand (using my handmade paper pulp) over recycled materials, a plastic bottle, and a small glass vase so that can it can be used with water. On the front and on the back is decorated with one flower sculpted by hand also. The center of each flower is decorated with small beads which are painted.

The texture of the vase is a little bit rough and the colors (white, pink, gold powder) are mixed each other giving a "grunge" effect.

Papier Mache Doll "Elizabeth"

My daughter "Elizabeth" was the inspiration to create this handmade papier mache little girl figure holding a small red heart, which stands on a light yellow square cube with a pink ribbon and a bow. Looks like a small present which has the little girl at the top! She is very sweet, she is wearing a pink dress and she has brown long hair.
